Terms and Conditions for Grants

When granted an award from Formas, you need to comply with our terms and conditions on, among other things, implementation of the project, uptake and dissemination as well as scientific and financial reporting.

General Terms and Conditions

Formas’ General Terms and Conditions apply to all grants provided for by Formas, unless otherwise provided in a decision, specific terms and conditions or call description.

The new General Terms and Conditions apply to all projects where decisions on the granting of funds are made after 1 January 2026.

Scientific publication

Formas’ General Terms and Conditions imply requirements for scientific publication in accordance with Formas’ policy on open access to scientific publications.
