Ten Research Projects on Art in Designed Living Environments – Final Conference
We are bringing together the ten funded projects from the call Designed living environment – architecture, form, design, art and cultural heritage in public spaces, discussing with experts in the field, and the authorities behind the call for forward-looking thoughts.
Formas, the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, ArkDes, the Swedish National Heritage Board, and the Public Arts Agency Sweden are the joint initiators of this initiative, which takes place within the framework of the National Research Program for Sustainable Spatial Planning for which Formas is responsible. The projects highlight artistic perspectives and the role of public art in the design of sustainable living environments.
You are welcome to explore the varied results and processes of the projects and listen to international and national experts in the research field. The project teams consist of academic and artistic researchers, artists, heritage experts, architects, designers, and other professionals.
