WHAT CAN YOU APPLY FOR?

Swedish participation in the first transnational call within the EU partnership FutureFoodS.

WHO CAN APPLY?

A group consisting of researchers, public organisations, companies, and non-governmental organisations. The project teams must consist of parties from at least three countries of the partnership programme. At least one part of the Swedish project goup must have a doctor’s degree and be employed at a university or other research performing organisations

HOW MUCH CAN YOU APPLY FOR?

Information on how much you can apply from Formas will be given when the call opens. You can apply for project with a duration of up till 3 years.

The date of the call is preliminary and may be revised. The call description will continue to be revised and made more precis until the call opens for applications.

FutureFoodS is the European partnership that aims to contribute to more sustainable Food Systems in the future. The objective of this Call is to fund transnational research and/or innovation projects addressing one of the following call topics. Each call topic brings together several of the high priority issues identified by the partnership.

Each application submitted under this call should focus on one of the three call topics listed below. The topic chosen should be clearly indicated in the proposal:

  1. The way towards sustainable and resilient food systems
  2. New foods – Fostering innovations in food design, processing and supply via demand-and-supply reorientation
  3. Empowering sustainable food choices – Enabling environments and dietary shifts

Please note that primary production as growing food (including seafood), agricultural production and other specific aspects related to it, as well as nutrition- and lifestyle-related diseases are not in focus in this partnership. These aspects are covered in other Horizon Europe partnerships.
