National information meeting on joint call of the European partnership FOREST
On Tuesday 29 September, from 11.00 to 12.00, Formas, Vinnova and the Swedish Energy Agency are organising a digital information meeting – this is being held to mark the opening of the first call for proposals within the partnership FORESTPathways: Building Knowledge and Solutions for Resilient Forests and Sustainable Forest-Based Futures. The information meeting will take place online via Zoom.
Formas, Vinnova and the Swedish Energy Agency are contributing to Swedish participation in the European partnership FOREST. On 15 September 2026, the first call for proposals under the FOREST partnership, ‘FORESTPathways: Building Knowledge and Solutions for Resilient Forests and Sustainable Forest-Based Futures’, will open. The call makes it possible for organisations operating in Sweden to apply for funding for international projects focusing on timber and innovative wood-based products, or on forest value chains, markets, and governance for the forestry sector as a whole.
Agenda
- Brief presentation of the EU partnership FOREST
- Overview of the call’s objectives, thematic focus and guiding principles
- Presentation of guidelines for Swedish participation
Representatives from the three Swedish research funders will take part in the information meeting, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions via the chat function. The webinar will be held in English, but questions may be asked in both Swedish and English.
