Information meeting 16 October at 9.00
A sustainable food system is crucial for good public health, competitive businesses, vibrant rural communities and robust societal preparedness. At the same time, the food sector faces complex challenges related to environmental and climate impact, resource use, vulnerability in value chains, low profitability and low self-sufficiency. How food is produced and what food is key to enhance the green transition and competitiveness of the food sector. To strengthen supply capacity, expand market opportunities and accelerate the transition, solutions need to jointly address sustainability, societal added-value, profitability and resource efficiency and be shaped in close collaboration between companies and researchers.
To realise its potential, the food system needs to further strengthen its ability to create and operationalise innovative, science-based solutions in practice. The call is targeted at established companies and research organisations that want to co-create new solutions that contribute to enhanced competitiveness and accelerated sustainable transition in the food sector. The project groups are expected to design and develop new or significantly improved products, services, processes or methods that can contribute to increased benefits and sustainability for more actors in the food sector and society.
A project can run for 12 to 24 months and apply for between SEK 1 and 2 million from Formas. Formas has allocated a total of SEK 15 million to fund innovation projects in this call.
This call for proposals is being issued within the framework of the national research programme for food External link.. Established in 2017, the programme funds transdisciplinary, needs-driven research and innovation projects relevant for the entire food sector, from primary production to consumption. The programme is an important part of the implementation of Sweden's national food strategy and the fulfilment of its long-term goals. As part of the programme's strengthened mission External link. presented in 2024, the focus of the call has been designed in collaboration with an advisory group of companies and industry organisations to meet the needs signalled by the sector. Overall, the project portfolio is expected to lead to increased innovation and competitiveness, benefiting more than just the parties directly involved, and the projects' effects will contribute to the green transition in the food sector and society at large.
In this call for proposals, we welcome project applications that address challenges within the following theme:
Innovations for sustainable and healthy diets
How can we promote change in the food system through new and healthy diets? Promoting new dietary habits require both changes in consumer behaviour in different food environments, e.g. in households, commercial kitchens and the hospitality industry, and a broader range of food products that combine lower climate impact with high nutritional value. The profitability of Swedish food producers throughout the food chain is a n important factor to hampering the supply of more sustainable and healthy products. Adopting novel approaches creates the necessary conditions for companies to expand their consumer base, which strengthens competitiveness and contributes to the green transition of the food sector. The food sector's ability to develop new methods, processes and innovative products is a key factor in contributing to more sustainable and healthy eating habits in different social groups across the country. Previous research has highlighted taste and sensorics as crucial factors in driving greater demand for sustainable and healthy products. There is great untapped potential in the Swedish food sector when it comes to developing innovative solutions and commercialising them so that they end up on plates to a greater extent, both in Sweden and abroad.
Innovation projects are expected, for example, to:
· Develop replicable methods that make it easier for consumers to opt for more sustainable, healthy dietary habits.
· Develop new food products with positive health properties, good food safety, high gastronomic value and low climate and environmental impact.
· Optimise the processing of Swedish raw materials for better health, sensory properties and resource efficiency.
· Develop food and beverages created through innovative processing methods, such as fermentation, extrusion or drying, to enhance sensory properties.
· Develop and experiment with new solutions that upgrade by-products and side streams for food use in circular food systems.
· Develop and test new concepts, tools and support that promote informed choices of sustainable and healthy foods in retail, hospitality, and digital and physical food environments.
Companies with a Swedish organisation number and Swedish universities, colleges and research institutes working with food-related issues can apply for funding in this call.
The innovation projects shall be based on collaboration between two parties: a company and an academic partner (university, college or research institute). Both parties must have a clear and well-defined role in all phases of the project, from design to implementation. Both parties shall also be active in applying and disseminating the project results. Projects based solely on unilateral implementation or subcontracting relationships between the parties are not considered relevant to this call.
Collaboration with additional actors such as public authorities, civil society organisations, advisors, reference groups or similar is encouraged, if relevant and motivated, during the implementation of the project. However, these actors cannot participate as project partners.
More information on eligibility, project requirements and funding conditions can be found under the following headings.
Before you apply
It is not permitted to submit the same application with different main applicants to the call for proposals Co-created Innovations for a Competitive Food Sector and Sustainable Transitions. All final applications that are deemed to have the same or similar content will be rejected.
There is no limit to how many applications a principal applicant may submit in this call. It is also possible for an organisation to be involved in several applications as long as the applicant's total salary, distributed across the projects, does not exceed 100% funding.
It is acceptable for the principal applicant to have an ongoing project grant from one of Formas’ other calls and grant forms, as long as the applicant’s total salary, distributed across the projects, does not exceed 100% funding.
The project must be carried out by two parties working with food-related issues: a company and an academic party. More or fewer than two parties are not permitted in this call.
A project partner is defined as an organisation that is registered as a partner in Prisma, has a clearly defined role in the implementation of the project and has its own budget item with associated costs, regardless of whether the project partner receives funding from Formas or contributes in-kind. More information is available under the heading How to apply.
The business partner must be an established company, i.e. the company must have been conducting economic activity in a market for at least three years and have a business model that includes the development or application of technology, services or products relevant to the food system. This may involve, for example, the processing of raw materials, inputs, technology, tools, digital solutions or physical products (for either consumers or other companies) that contribute to a more sustainable, robust and competitive food system.
All projects must have a responsible project manager and be carried out by the persons specified in the application.
The main applicant must be a Swedish organisation. This means that it must be a legal entity with a Swedish organisation number. Both business parties and research performers may be main applicants.
The main applicant organisation must also be the one that receives and manages the funds paid out by Formas, i.e. be the administrating organisation for the project. This means that only organisations that are, or can be approved as, administrating organisations can be main applicants in this call.
Formas distinguishes between administrating organisations that are approved for all calls and those that need to be approved for a specific project. Universities, colleges, authorities with research assignments and most research institutes are generally approved. Other public and private organisations need to apply to be approved as administrating organisations for the specific project. If your organisation already has an organisation account in Prisma, you only need to contact the call administrator to be linked to the call.
This is an organisational call. This means that the application must be submitted via the organisation's account External link. in Prisma and that it is the person responsible for the organisation's account who registers and signs the application.
Read more about administrating organisations under the heading "How to apply".
Sole proprietorships are not eligible to participate as project partners. Applications in which one of the partners is registered as a sole proprietorship will be rejected. Companies and other organisations engaged in economic activities that apply for funding from Formas are subject to the rules on state aid External link..
Project partners are permitted to mobilise third-party organisations with specific skills and knowledge that can contribute to the project’s objectives through purchased services. The involvement of third-party organisations must be limited, well defined and well justified in the project application. Please note, however, that purchased services may not exceed 20% of the amount applied for from Formas.
Academic actors at foreign universities, colleges and research institutes, as well as foreign companies and other organisations engaged in economic activities, may be parties to a project application, but are not eligible for Formas funding. Any participation by foreign actors must be limited, well defined and well justified in the project application.
Due to the war in Ukraine, it will not be possible to obtain funding for projects involving collaboration with state or federal research institutions in Russia and Belarus.
Organisations that conduct both economic and non-economic activities, such as research institutes, can apply for funding in the call and receive grants without state aid, provided that they intend to participate in their non-economic activities. An organisation that conducts both economic and non-economic activities shall be considered an undertaking only in relation to its economic activities.
If an organisation applying for funding engages in both economic and non-economic activities, it must keep the activities clearly separate through separate accounting. It is crucial th , the costs and financing of the organisation's various activities are kept separate and that the organisation, as a recipient of support, may not use the results of activities carried out within the framework of its non-economic activities, with funding from Formas, in its economic activities. In summary, in order for Formas to be able to grant the organisation support in the form of funding within the framework of its non-economic activities, the applicant organisation must certify that its non-economic activities are kept clearly separate from any economic activities and that the project for which funding is sought will be carried out within the non-economic part of its activities.
For applicants that conduct both economic and non-economic activities, and that intend to participate in the non-economic part of their activities in the call, Formas therefore requires that a certificate of separate accounting External link., signed by an authorised representative of the organisation, be attached to the application. Formas may also request a certificate of separate accounting or subordinate economic activity for projects during the processing of the application if Formas deems it necessary.

When you apply for funding for a project, you can apply for funding for both direct and indirect costs. Direct costs are costs that would not have been incurred if the project had not been carried out: personnel costs, costs for equipment, buildings, land, costs for consultants and licences, and other direct costs. Indirect costs are costs that do not arise as a direct result of the project but can still be related to it, such as administration and IT. Indirect costs are sometimes referred to as overhead costs or general expenses. The permitted surcharge for indirect costs varies depending on the type of organisation.
Costs must therefore be clearly linked to the project for which you are applying for funding and finance activities beyond your regular operations.
You can read more about which costs Formas finances here:
You can apply for funding for the following External link.
Costs that Formas funds through the support scheme (pdf) External link.
You can apply for between 1 million and 2 million Swedish kronor from Formas for projects lasting 12 to 24 months. It is a requirement that both project partners have their own costs in the project. These consist of their own working time (in-kind), cash funds or other relevant resources.
The project start date is preset to 1 October 2026 in Prisma and cannot be changed. In addition to the project period, a three-month disposition period is granted to complete project activities and cost reporting.
The budget in the application must show how the funds are to be used and allocated per calendar year based on estimated costs. Please note that Formas may establish a different payment plan than the one specified in the application.
Provided that the conditions for the approved project are met, funds will be disbursed on a monthly basis, with the first payment to the fund administrator in October 2026.
You may write your application in Swedish or in English, as the review panel that will assess your application is Swedish-speaking. The project summary must be written in both Swedish and English.
Under Swedish law, your application (including appendices) is considered a public document once it has been submitted to us. This means that anyone can request and access your application. Information can only be concealed if it is covered by confidentiality under the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (2009:400).
The Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act contains a provision on confidentiality in supervisory and support activities carried out by a government agency. This provision is often referred to as business secrecy. Formas’s funding activities are such support activities carried out by a government agency.
Formas has limited opportunities to classify personal or business information as confidential. Therefore, the application should not contain personal or business information for anyone other than those participating in the application.
The popular science description and project summaries in Swedish and English will, if the project is awarded funding, be published in open project databases without confidentiality assessment. The content of these fields should therefore not contain sensitive information.
At present, we see no problem with you as an applicant using AI as an aid when designing your application. However, it is important that you are aware that the responsibility for fulfilling the commitments you make in the application lies with you as the applicant. As an applicant, you are responsible for ensuring that the content of both the application and the project plan is correct and that the research is carried out as described. You certify this when you register your application. As an applicant, you must follow good research practice during the application process, which means that plagiarism, falsification or fabrication of content in the application is not permitted.
At Formas, we are very keen to ensure that the projects we fund are carried out in a way that maximises positive and minimises negative impacts on the environment and climate. We therefore encourage you, as an applicant, to design your project so that collaboration takes place primarily through digital meeting formats and that any necessary travel is carried out in the most climate-smart way possible. We also suggest that you include measures to minimise energy consumption and other resource consumption, emissions and waste in your project planning. However, this will not be part of the assessment of your application.

How to apply
You submit your application to Formas in our application system Prisma. There you enter the information needed for your application. The call is listed under the organisation account in Prisma External link..
Plan, complete and submit your application well in advance of the call closing date. Formas has very limited capacity to help applicants with questions about the application system in the final days before the call closes.
If mandatory fields are missing information when the application is submitted, it will not be possible to register the application External link.. It is possible to register an application, then withdraw it (deregister) and register it again an unlimited number of times before the call closes. We recommend that applicants test registering their application well in advance of the call closing to ensure that all mandatory fields are correctly filled in. This minimises the risk of technical problems that may prevent the final registration of the application on time. Please note that incorrect formatting, such as spaces in copied postcodes or other hidden characters, can cause problems during registration. Therefore, please check that all information is correctly filled in and formatted according to the instructions. Once the call for proposals has closed, it is not possible to submit or add information to the application.
The call closes on 29 January 2026 at 14:00. All applications must be finally registered before this deadline; no additions or late registrations are permitted (unless specifically requested by Formas).
Organisation account
This call is a so-called organisational call. Organisational calls are only visible when you log in via an organisational account. First click on the organisational account tab and then proceed to the link for organisational calls. See Prisma user support External link. for instructions on how to find the call in Prisma.
The organisation that will receive and manage the funds paid out by Formas if the project application is approved is referred to in Formas’ application system as a fund administrator. The organisation must have an organisation account at the time of application.
Formas distinguishes between fund administrators that can receive funds in all Formas calls and fund administrators that can be approved to receive funds for a single project.
Applicants from fund administrators approved for all Formas calls
Universities, colleges, most research institutes and authorities with research assignments are approved as fund administrators for all Formas calls and already have an organisation account.
Applicants from fund administrators that need to be individually approved
Most other public and private organisations need to be individually approved as fund administrators for this call.
Organisational accounts for organisations that can become fund administrators for an individual project
- If your organisation already has an account in Prisma, please contact the responsible research administrator Emma Stockvall Carlsson by email at stockvallcarlsson@formas.se so that your organisation can be added as a possible fund administrator for this call. Please include your organisation number in your message. This also applies if your organisation has been approved as a fund administrator for a project in one of Formas’ previous calls.
- If your organisation does not already have an account in Prisma, a suitable representative (organisation account manager) should apply for an organisation account on the Prisma website. In the application, state that you wish to apply for the call “Collaboration-driven innovation for the food of the future”, the type of organisation involved and the organisation number. It is important that the main applicant applies for an organisation account for the intended coordinating project partner (fund administrator) in good time if one does not already exist in Prisma, but no later than 8 January. Apply for an organisation account in Prisma. External link.
- If you do not know whether your organisation has an account in Prisma, please contact the responsible research administrator Emma Stockvall Carlsson by email at stockvallcarlsson@formas.se before applying for a new account. Please state your organisation number.
Project base – create a structure to describe the organisation
In order to register an application, a project base within the organisation must be specified. A project base can be, for example, an institution or a department. The person responsible for the organisation account should build a structure with units and sub-units (project bases) on two levels. If the organisation does not have departments, specify a sub-unit with the same name as the organisation. Information on how to do this can be found in Prisma's user support External link..
Applications are assessed on the basis of their content, which is why the project description must clearly address all assessment criteria. In the assessment, great importance will be attached to how well the applications provide a complete picture of both the problems and proposed solutions, the commitment of the stakeholders to the project, and how the project conducts its impact analysis of the proposed measures.
If applicable: If you wish to attach images, tables, figures, etc. to your application, these should be uploaded as a PDF attachment (max. 4 MB). It is not mandatory to attach such files.
All limits on the maximum number of characters refer to characters including spaces. We recommend using Arial font size 12 for the information entered in all text boxes.
Please note that if you write your application in a word processing programme and then paste it into Prisma, the formatting may be lost.
Tables and figures with advanced formatting or formulas should be uploaded as attachments in PDF format to avoid loss of information. The application must contain a clear description of the project in the following sections:
Basic information
- Number of months applied for: The minimum number of months is 12 and the maximum number of months is 24
- Start month: October 2026

Budget and other information
The project partner’s funding may consist of funds applied for from Formas, own funding, for example by contributing working hours, or other types of co-funding. The type of co-funding must be specified in the budget specification in the application. It is not permitted for one party to solely finance the other party without having any costs or responsibilities in the project itself.
Please note that even if a project partner does not apply for funding from Formas but only contributes in-kind, the partner must still be specified as a separate item in the budget, where the partner’s costs must be stated. If either of the partners has no costs in the project, the application will be rejected on formal grounds.
The project costs, funding and other information about all organisations participating in the application must be reported in Prisma. In Prisma, the entire amount applied for must be written out in full, for example, 1 million Swedish kronor is written as 1,000,000 Swedish kronor.
Companies and other organisations engaged in economic activities may apply for and be granted a maximum amount of funding in accordance with state aid rules. More information is available in the section Rules for state aid to companies and other economic activities.
The following information must be included in the project budget:
Information about the main applicant organisation and each project partner
This is mandatory information that must be provided for each party involved in the project. The information is collected and entered by the main applicant. The main applicant's organisation must be the same as the one specified as the fund administrator.
- Name of the organisation
- Organisation number
- Address, postcode, town, country
- Annual turnover (refers to the university, college, institute, company or organisation's total turnover and sales for the current tax year, stated in figures, e.g. 3,500,000)
- Balance sheet total (refers to the sum of assets or the sum of liabilities and equity in a company or organisation's balance sheet, stated in figures, e.g. 5,500,000)
- Number of employees
- Contact person
- Email address of contact person
- Name of workplace, address, postcode (in the requested format), town, country where most of the work will be carried out.
Costs
- Personnel costs for researchers, technicians and other staff to the extent that they work on the project. For employees at universities, colleges or research institutes, the amount may never exceed one hundred per cent of a full-time position. This also means that someone who already receives full salary funding from a financier cannot receive additional funds for salary. Researchers who are fully retired cannot receive funding for their own salary.
- Equipment, buildings and land to the extent and for the duration that they are used for the project. If the instruments and equipment are not used throughout the entire life cycle of the project, only the depreciation costs corresponding to the life cycle of the research project, calculated on the basis of generally accepted accounting principles, are considered eligible. In the case of buildings, only the depreciation costs corresponding to the life cycle of the research project, calculated on the basis of generally accepted accounting principles, are considered eligible. For land, costs of transfer on commercial terms or actual capital costs are eligible.
- Costs for consultants and licences, etc., purchased or hired from external sources on market terms, as well as costs for consulting services and similar services used exclusively for research and innovation activities. Please note, however, that costs for purchased services may not exceed 20 per cent of the amount applied for from Formas.
- Other direct costs, such as costs for materials, inputs and similar products, incurred as a direct result of a project. Other direct costs also include travel and conferences, as well as publication in open access journals and databases. Formas only grants funding for certain author fees. Read more under the heading. Publication costs. External link.
Project partners applying for funding equivalent to three million Swedish kronor or more may also apply for funding of up to 30,000 Swedish kronor for auditor’s certificates from authorised/approved auditors. Auditor’s certificates from internal auditors are accepted for municipalities, county councils, government agencies, universities and colleges.
- Indirect costs:
- Universities and colleges may add a surcharge for indirect costs in accordance with the applicable full-cost principle. Universities and colleges only need to report eligible costs corresponding to the grant amount separately in their accounts.
- The following organisations may, when participating in the project with non-economic activities, include actual indirect costs up to a maximum of 45% of their eligible personnel costs:
- research organisations that are
- limited companies or trading companies in which the state exercises direct or indirect legal control, or
- foundations in which the government appoints one or more board members
- state authorities (other than universities and colleges) which, according to their instructions, are to conduct their own research,
The condition of a maximum of 45% applies provided that the organisation receives funding from the government to conduct independent research. If the organisation also conducts economic activities such as contract research, these activities must be reported separately. If the organisation participates in the project with economic activities, the condition regarding other project partners below applies.
- Other project partners may claim actual indirect costs, but no more than an amount corresponding to 30% of their eligible personnel costs.
Formas does not grant funding for overheads on costs that you write off for equipment or premises.
Funding
Four types of funding can be specified in the application:
- Grant sought from Formas: Specify the amount sought from Formas within the framework of the call. The amount may not exceed the total costs. If the amount sought is less than the total costs, the remaining amount will automatically be calculated and reported under Own funding.
- Other support (public): If funds for related projects have been obtained with funding from Formas or another public funder.
- Other support (private): If funds from another private company or organisation are contributing to the financing of the project.
- Own funding: If the project partner contributes its own funding to the project, this is automatically calculated in the field for own funding.
Justification of personnel costs in the budget
Here you specify the average hourly cost for budgeted personnel costs. Personnel costs refer to salaries including social security contributions and other mandatory charges linked to salaries. (Maximum 500 characters including spaces.)
Budget specification
Here, the principal applicant explains the budget in words. The overhead costs applied in the application are specified here. Formas does not grant funding for overheads on costs that you write off for equipment or premises. Describe how much of the co-funding, i.e. other funding (public), other funding (private) or own funding, consists of time, cash or other resources. If the co-funding consists wholly or partly of resources other than cash, clearly state how you calculate these contributions. Describe this for each project partner contributing co-funding. Here you also state any consultancy costs and the extent of the consultant's involvement. Also state which project partner(s) are responsible for the consultancy costs. Applicants are encouraged to be clear in describing all costs in relation to the activities in question within the project. (Maximum 9,000 characters including spaces.)
How to fill in the budget in Prisma
For each project partner (main applicant and co-applicant):
- Fill in organisational details and workplace.
- Register costs per year and cost type. Totals are calculated automatically.
- Register funding:
- Enter the grant applied for from Formas (may be SEK 0 for parties that only co-finance).
- Enter other support (public or private), if necessary.

The project's total costs and funding are automatically compiled at the bottom of Prisma based on all parties' budgets. Check that:
- Both project partners are correctly registered.
- Both have budgeted costs.
- The amount applied for and any co-financing are correctly stated.
- Any external funding is specified.
Ethics
You must state whether there are any special ethical aspects to the project. If so, you must describe the ethical issues involved and how you plan to deal with them. This may, for example, concern research that utilises personal data or research that involves experiments on humans or animals.
If you are conducting research on humans, human tissue or sensitive personal data, you must submit an application for ethical review to the Swedish Ethical Review Authority and obtain approval. If the research involves experiments on animals, you must also obtain approval from an animal ethics committee. You can apply for this via the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service.
You must state in your application whether or not you have valid ethical approval. If you do not have it, and your application is granted funding, you must have ethical approval before the described experiments begin.
If your research is not expected to involve anything that requires ethical approval, you must state this and explain how and why.

Fill in the sections for information, budget, and financing for each project party in the same way as described for the coordinating project party. See the Coordinating project party section above. Information for the project parties is to be filled in regardless of whether the project party is applying for a grant, i.e. funding from Formas or not. If project parties do not apply for funding from Formas and instead only participate in-kind, state the budgeted project costs for these project parties but enter SEK "0" in the field “Applied for funding from Formas” under Funding for these project parties. Note that subcontractors to the applicant are not project partners in the application.
Project costs and funding
The total specified cost of the project and total specified funding respectively are calculated automatically below following the budget charts for the coordinating project party and other project parties.
Double check how you filled in the budget tables well in advance of registering your application. Applications with incorrectly filled in budgets may be rejected. Check the following for all budget tables per project party, including coordinating project party and tables for project costs and project funding, respectively, which combine totals from tables per project party:
- You have added all project partners participating in the project.
- You have specified the amount of funding applied for from Formas for all the project parties that intend to receive funding from Formas.
- You have stated other funding for those project parties that have other funding.
- You have the self-funding required by state aid regulations for companies and other organisations, where relevant.
After you have submitted your application
You can make changes to your registered application, or deregister it and re-register, until the call closes at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, 29 January 2026. After that, the status of your application will change from "registered" to "finalised". Once the call has closed, you will not be able to make any changes to your application. Nor will you be able to submit any additional information via email or telephone, for example. Your application will be assessed in its current state. We only make exceptions if additional information is specifically requested by Formas.
Your finalised application will automatically be sent to the fund administrator when the call closes. Please note that the fund administrator must sign the application digitally in Prisma within seven calendar days, otherwise the application will be rejected on formal grounds.

- The credit check carried out by Formas on the company partner shows that it has a sufficiently robust economy to receive funds and/or carry out project activities.
- That the number of partners complies with the explicit requirements for the project team in the call for proposals.
If one of these checkpoints is not met, Formas may reject the application before review.

Our reviewers are currently not permitted to use AI tools to support the review of applications. There are several reasons for this. Firstly, there is a significant risk that uploaded information will be disseminated further. There are also risks associated with confidentiality and the processing of personal data. Uploading an application or information from an application to any form of AI tool constitutes unauthorised dissemination of information. This applies not only to AI tools but also to many other services and tools for storing and sharing data.
Decisions on which projects will be awarded funding are expected to be made on 16 June 2026. We will publish the decisions no later than the following day on the Formas website, and you will receive an email when you can view the decision in Prisma. Grant decisions cannot be appealed.
Formas reserves the right to apply a portfolio approach when selecting applications to be granted funding under this call. The portfolio approach can only be applied after all applications have been assessed on their own merits and ranked. Taking the portfolio into account for this call means that the projects awarded funding collectively cover the thematic areas and challenges facing the food sector described in the call’s section on purpose and focus.
All approved projects must report back to Formas on finances and project results three months after the end of the disposition period. For projects longer than 18 months, a financial status report must also be submitted to Formas annually. All reports are submitted in Prisma.

Formas may impose requirements on how projects are to be reported in terms of content and results in order to enable dissemination and utilisation. This will be stated in the decision (with associated conditions) for the project in the event of funding. Formas may also impose requirements regarding participation in conferences and similar events in order to create synergies and platforms for learning and knowledge exchange.
Results from research funded by Formas must be published with open access.
You must also have a data management plan for the data produced in the project. If you receive funding from us, you must draw up such a plan. The plan does not need to be submitted to us, but you must be able to present it on request. By signing our terms and conditions for funding, you certify that a data management plan will be in place before the research begins and that it will be maintained.
Formas transfers information about approved grants to Swecris, a national database of grant-funded research established on behalf of the government.
