The third call “Water for Circular Economy” organised by the European partnership Water4All with 36 Funding Agencies and the European Commission is welcoming joint transnational proposals supporting research and innovation projects. Formas is supporting the call with a budget of 20 million Swedish Crones.
The proposals presented to the Water4All’s 2024 Joint Transnational Call are expected to deliver new knowledge, innovative tools, methodologies, and approaches to governance and management enabling the development of new circular feedstocks and value chains, increased water resource efficiency, improved water allocation, and optimized water use in water-dependent sectors.
The proposals are also expected to contribute to the acceleration of the adoption of measures and to connect actors to improve coordination of actions. In all cases, knowledge transfer and impact of the outputs must be demonstrated. Likewise, the proposals will be required to demonstrate how stakeholders are involved to achieve the desired impact.
Proposals must not duplicate past efforts and results delivered by projects and actions previously funded by other instruments. Read more about the duplication and collaboration with active projects on the topics in the call text.
